Big Picture Parenting: The 4 Fundamental Keys to Parenting for Connection in Today's World

Parenting is harder today than it was 50 or 100 years ago. In order to stay connected with our kids, when our culture presents so many ways that disconnection can occur, we parents need to have more skills and simply be better at communicating with our kids.

The good news is that staying connected is a skill-based process.

This two-day course will help you to push the RESET button, clear your mind and create new directions, whether your child is not-yet-born, or whether you are knee-deep in toddlers through teens.

Early bird registration is $187 (before January 18) and regular registration is $247.
Additional participants can be added for $97 (early bird rate) before January 18 or $127 after.

Click here to register online or call Lisa Kathleen at 403-607-1463.

You will have two full weeks in-between classes to practice with your new ideas and skills, AND a special group phone-session in between classes to answer any questions that have come up for you.

If you

  • Are wondering what kind of parenting meets the needs of a child growing up in the 2000’s
  • Want to know exactly how the latest research applies to YOU, but don’t have time to wade through the piles of parenting information
  • Are a conscious, committed parent

Then, this series is for you.

Join us to explore how the 4 fundamental elements:

  • Examining ourselves
  • What to do instead of rewards, punishments, praise and shame
  • Building connection
  • Creating the environment in which your child can thrive

fit together and create the foundation for your PEACE OF MIND.

You may be certain that what your parents did wasn’t quite right, but not-so-certain how to do things differently, consistently. You may be very sure that authoritarian parenting isn’t for you, and pretty sure that the kind of permissiveness that leaves you feeling like a doormat doesn’t help your child, but you may not be so sure about how to do things, consistently and lovingly, another way.

Bring your spouse, cousin, friend, or nanny and they pay the second person price!

**This is an expanded version of my previous Big Picture Parenting Series. This series includes more question and answer time and more opportunity to discuss and absorb information. Remember that all my classes have Unlimited Free Re-Attend, so if you have attended my previous Big Picture Parenting class, and you want to come again at no charge, just let me know!**
