January 25, 2013 7:30 am - 9:00 am
Bite Groceteria & Cafe (corner of 9 Avenue & 10 Street SE in Inglewood)
Join us at our first Sustainability for Breakfast event of the new year and be one of the first to experience Bite Groceteria & Cafe's new, expanded location. A delicious breakfast of locally sourced, sustainable food will be provided, followed by presentations by the owners of Bite and some of their partners. Come learn about Bite's vision to be Inglewood's piazza - providing a gathering place for food, culture, and community.
Sustainability for Breakfast is a monthly networking event co-organized by REAP and the Office of Sustainability at The City of Calgary. It's aim is to provide resources and build community to assist Calgarians in their efforts to build a more sustainable city.
This event is offered on a pay-what-you-can basis. Calgary Dollars accepted.
All proceeds are directed to REAP's public outreach events and community programming.
Advance registration is required. Guests are welcome, but please ask them to register through the Meetup page.
Please note that Bite has four different entrances. You will find us at the 10 Street SE entrance on the west side of Gravity Cafe. Look for the Sustainability for Breakfast sign on 10 Street.
Also, there is parking along 9 Avenue SE as well as 9th and 10th Streets SE.
